Translations with A. M. Agustina Marianacci, freelance translations in English and SpanishMy name is Agustina Marianacci and I’m an Argentinian English-Spanish translator living in New Zealand. I’ve actively studied the English language since the age of 5, when my mother decided that speaking English would be an asset for me in the future. I don’t think she anticipated how much of an asset and what an enormous part of my life it would turn into.

After graduating from university and being qualified as a national public translator of English, I moved to beautiful Wellington, where I now work as a freelance translator for both private clients and agencies all over the world.

I’m passionate about linguistics in general, even if I do specialise in two languages only. Living in an English speaking country, I have acquired a deep understanding of English (and New Zealand) culture, which now coexists with my Spanish cultural background. This factor is key in producing accurate translations which feel as an original, rather than a translated text, to the target audience.

And that is, in essence, what I strive to provide to every single client: professional and accurate translations which do not fall short of creativity and freedom, the kind that is obligatory if anyone is to deliver a translation that reads fluently and naturally.
