Agustina MarianacciMy name is Agustina Marianacci and I’m an Argentinian English-Spanish translator and interpreter living in Aotearoa New Zealand. I’ve been actively studying the English language since the age of 5, when my mother decided that speaking English would be an asset for me in the future. I don’t think she anticipated what an enormous part of my life it would turn into.

After graduating from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina) as a national public translator of English, I moved to Aotearoa New Zealand, where I now work as a freelance translator and interpreter for private clients and language service providers all over the world.

I’m passionate about linguistics and communication in general, even if I do specialise in two languages in particular. Migration and research have made me aware of cultural differences, but it has also reaffirmed my Latin American background. The diversity around me has enriched my work as a translator, interpreter, educator and researcher in ways I never imagined, and it continues to expand my journey in the search for understanding and better living across difference.Save
